It's not historically accurate, but I also didn't expect that since its purpose rather is to entertain, shock (corpses! nudity!) and give a new coating to an already very well-known point in history. The book is pretty short but it also has just the right length. But despite the extreme pathos, the floods of blood / body parts and the ridiculous make-up/CGI abs, I liked it.
